The one I received only has two modes. Be aware that on auto-lock mode (device auto-lock after 5 seconds) only the first 3 registered fingerprints can unlock the device. Since we are six persons to use the device, I hate to put it on the unlock mode to be able to unlock with more than 3 fingerprints. On unlock mode, we have to press twice the fingerprints reader to lock the door. Instructions were not clear. Hardware quality is very good.
